Days 148 to 152: Five Days in Wrocław

For the past several days, I didn’t do much exploration. I mainly stayed at Magda’s apartment, cooked, cleaned, and thought about the next part of my bike tour.

I will buy a plane ticket to get out of the Schengen Area in late October. I’m thinking of backpacking in Central Asia and the Middle East since I’ve never been to these areas. In February, I’ll come back to Wrocław. If I can get a job there then I’ll stay and work, but if not then I’ll move on with my bicycle tour in the spring of next year. That’s the plan so far.

This morning, I arrived in Warsaw with Magda via train. Magda will attend Chopin piano competitions as a spectator today and Monday. I will explore more of Warsaw by myself.

Other than that, not much to report. I kind of like staying in Magda’s apartment. I like the feeling of being settled for a change, especially when it’s cold outside. Winter seems to come early in Poland and I’m glad I’m taking a pause on cycling.
