I spent the past two days just relaxing at the hostel and going to the beach. Nothing too interesting, but I’m glad to have spend some alone time so that I can do some thinking.
I planned my destinations ahead so that I can leave the Schengen area from Croatia and return to the Schengen in Greece on time for my flight back to Philadelphia. I’ll be spending about a month in Montenegro and Albania since they are not in the Schengen zone.
I also watched some YouTube videos about cycling and traveling, then I did administration work on the computer.
Today, I borrowed an ebook called The Art of Spending Money by Morgan Housel. I read Morgan’s previous books so I hope this book will be interesting as well.
I thought about what I should do after I get back home. After voting in the midterm election in November, I will do some slow traveling in Latin America. Maybe I’ll complete a CELTA certification so I can teach English in foreign countries. Another option is to get a certificate in project management and pursue a corporate job, which is something I’m more hesitant to do.
The temperature has gotten a little cooler. At least it’s not in the 30C anymore, but the humidity makes it still feel hotter.
Tomorrow, I will take the 9:30 AM ferry from Mali Lošinj to Zadar. I will explore the town in the afternoon and spend a night at a hostel before cycling down the Croatian coast again.
